Positive independence
Posted by sigglue on 20 Dez 2005 11:00 GMT

The group interrelation where team members are obliged to rely on each other's to achieve the goal. If any team members fail to do their part, everyone suffers consequences. Positive interdependence design by establishing (1) mutual goals, (2) joint rewards (if all group members achieve above the criteria, each will receive bonus points), (3) shared resources, and (4) assigned roles (summarizer, encourager of participation, elaborator).
