An approach to psychology based on the proposition that the observation of behaviour is the best or most convenient way of investigating psychological and mental processes. It is also assumed that behavior can be modified by corresponding learning processes.

Any game played on the marked board, with counters, dice or pieces that are moved around. Some board games can have intense strategic value, such as Chess, Poker, or simulation of reality, such as Monopoly.
The digital format of Board games is called also Casual genre of the games.
